In keeping it thematic they have given the shoes a hazy glow to accompany the name Nothern Lites .While we are a bit fuzzy on the particulars we can say that the shoes have reflective qualities and a dark upper with a colorful asics logo. With an upper made of a combination of mesh and premium nubuck, you would think the materials would stand out. However, it is the bright aqua color that dominates the upper that catches your eye. The qua color is broken up into thre different shades and each is highlighted by the associated materials. A taste of white is thrown in beneath the aqua on the Asics logo as well as the Gel branding on the midsole. The lining is all grey which helps strike a delicate balance between the three shades on qua on the shoe. As they are only a sample, they will not make it to production.
